For ease of use the operating mechanism that we use today is different than in bygone years. Mostly, the older cord and pulley system has been replaced by today’s spiral balances.
Don’t worry though - if you’re looking to match windows for an older style or heritage listed property our tradesmen still know how to manufacture the corded system.
Also available are the sashless double hung windows – more glass than timber.
To make cleaning easier you can also choose from double hung windows with a lift out sash. |
