The use of pivots on the top and bottom of your frame allows for a wider and heavier door.
As our homes seem to be getting larger the use of more generously proportioned and welcoming front entryways is gaining popularity. A pivoting front door allows you to achieve a wide, open entry to your home.
The pivots, placed on the top and bottom of your frame, take the place of hinges down the side of the door.
Another bonus of a wider front entry is that you have much easier access to manoeuvre bulky furniture items.
So instead of having your front door a standard 2040mm x 820mm or 900mm think about taking it up a notch to 2400mmx1600mm or larger – giving you the space you need. |
